Boston Bioproducts Inc Acetate Buffer (1 M, pH 5.0) - 500ml
The Acetate Buffer is commonly used to maintain pH within 3.6 and 5.6, making it ideal for processes requiring a stable environment at this pH. It is effective in applications including the purification and precipitation of nucleic acids, protein crystallization and preparing staining solution for staining gels after protein gel electrophoresis. The concentration of this buffer influences its buffering capacity, and it's pH can vary depending on the proportion of acetic acid to acetate ions.
